« Comité de pilotage du programme régional ECOFAC 6 -COPIL »

Number of participants: 90

4 – 6 May 2021

The objective of the “ECOFAC 6” programme is to promote a green economy characterised by an endogenous, sustainable and inclusive economic development, as well as the fight against climate change. Within our framework contract with the EU Delegation in Gabon, Sao Tomé-e-Principe and the CEEAC, it was requested to organise a 3-day Steering Committee of the programme “ECOFAC 6” in Douala, aiming to expose results achieved during the year and come up with further recommendations.

Due to stronger “Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions”, a maximum limitation of guests at the event had to be respected: hence the decision to host this important reunion in Douala rather than Libreville, and limit attendance to 40 people on-site, while allowing 50 people to join on-line.

Together with our Event Coordinators who assisted all 40 sponsored participants in this “hybrid” event in Douala (travel arrangements, reimbursements, daily allowances, hotel booking, distribution of materials, prints, etc.), C&M ensured the delivery of videoconferencing services and guaranteed an optimal “digital flow” of the meeting days. A Technician inside the meeting room assisted in the successful live streaming of the reunion with a Cameraman, while other Technicians ensured the internet broadcasting through the videoconference platform. As specific assistance to the ‘sponsored participants’, C&M took care of their entire travel management, advising and informing them about the current Covid-19 requirements when travelling to Cameroon.
